The Lynx is quickly becoming one of my absolute favorite visitors to the Monterey Bay.

Seeing her in a moment like this makes me even more sure that were the opportunity to arise, I’d sign up and sail away, no looking back…

(I guess I’ll settle for the small satisfaction of working somewhere that this sort of thing might pass into view…and humming pirate ditties isn’t seen as terribly unreasonable.)

    I always love to see her off the coast as well, especially on a day when few to no other ships are on the water too. I can pretend just for a moment that none of this hustle, bustle, or development is here. Free time travel twice a year.
